A multi-academy trust is seeking a temporary SEN Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs. This fixed-term position lasts until August 31, 2026, and involves ensuring students access the curriculum while also supporting their emotional wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Education Health Care Plans and maintain professional records. Willoughby Road Primary Academy are looking to appoint a temporary SEN Support Assistant for 32.5 hours per week, term time only to join the academy as soon as possible. This is a fixed position until 31 August 2026.
The position is linked to EHCP funding and will support pupils on a 1:2:1 basis to ensure they are accessing the curriculum and developing their understanding, whilst providing support for their emotional wellbeing and individual needs.

As a SEN Support Assistant, you will provide one-to-one personal support for pupils with additional needs who are in receipt of an Education Health Care Plan. You will provide special educational and/or medical support to ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning. You will need to maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week / Term Time only (38 weeks)
