The Excel Academy in Stoke-on-Trent is opening a new SEN Support Assistant post for Arden Dene Specialist Inclusion Base starting January 2027. The role is permanent and term-time, averaging 32.5 hours per week, with a level 5 salary range of £20,955 to £22,697.

The successful candidate will support personalised learning for pupils with Education Health Care Plans, help integrate students into mainstream lessons, and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive environment within the Alpha Academies

Alpha Academies Trust is launching aSecondary SEN Resource provision in Stoke-on-Trent, which will be based in The ExcelAcademy, part of Alpha Academies Trust. We are seeking to appoint anenthusiastic SEN Support Assistant to join our new provision opening in January2027, which caters for children with Education Health Care Plans. Our nurturingenvironment supports personalised learning, complemented by access to selectedmainstream lessons. Students are encouraged to integrate into mainstream schoollife at their own pace, engaging in extracurricular activities, social events,and shared learning experiences with their peers.
