Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic, committed and adaptable Sports Coach SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Walkden. This is a hybrid role, offering the perfect blend of delivering engaging sports sessions and providing 1:1 SEN support.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality sports coaching sessions to groups of primary pupils, promoting teamwork, fitness and positive attitudes.
  • Work 1:1 with a child who is working behind age‑related expectations, providing tailored support, encouragement and interventions to help them progress.
  • Support class teachers and follow the child's needs closely to ensure consistent and nurturing care.

  • A background in sports coaching, youth work or PE.
