Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a Sports Coach / Sports Graduate to join a SEN secondary school in Lewisham. You will support pupils in the classroom, assist with learning activities and contribute to PE and sport sessions across the school day.

ASAP start with both full-time and part-time opportunities. A sports background and genuine interest in education are valued, with the role offering ongoing consultancy support and potential permanent positions.

Qualifications

• Sports-related degree or relevant coaching experience.
• Experience coaching or working with children.
• Positive and energetic approach.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils.
• Patient and adaptable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within the classroom.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Assist teachers with learning activities.
• Support PE and physical activity.
• Run or assist with sports activities.
• Support pupils during breaktimes and lunchtime.
• Encourage teamwork, confidence and positive behaviour.
• Support pupils with SEND where required.
• Help children develop social and communication skills.
