Job summary

Veritas Education are recruiting Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants to support SEN schools across East London. These full-time roles start ASAP and offer daily rates of £95-£120.

The successful candidate will have a psychology or related degree and experience supporting children or young people with SEN. You will provide one-to-one, small-group and classroom support to help students engage and develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic approach to supporting students.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN/additional needs desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one, small-group and whole-class support to students with SEN.
• Support students with their learning, development and engagement.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to meet individual student needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students and act as a consistent role model.
