Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting an Alternative SEN Provision Teaching Assistant for an setting just south of Ross-On-Wye. The role supports learners with additional needs through 1:1 and small-group work, under the guidance of experienced staff.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm during term time, with a daily rate of £95-£115 depending on experience. An Enhanced DBS is required or you must be willing to apply. Start date ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to a range of learners across the day.
• Support learners with their learning, development and engagement.
• Support the delivery of targeted interventions and personalised activities.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with learners.
• Encourage continued positive behaviour choices, confidence and independence.
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment for all.
• Follow all policies and procedures on a daily basis.
