Job summary

Shottery St. Andrew’s C of E Primary School is establishing a communication and interaction specialist provision to nurture and educate children with specific needs. We are seeking a teacher with purpose, positivity and a passion for helping children achieve learning and personal targets.

The successful candidate will work with the headteacher and SENCo to develop outstanding practice, adapt teaching delivery and build strong relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach pupils with communication and interaction needs effectively through the use of dynamic and engaging techniques.
• Ability to lead provision and manage staff in an effective way towards outstanding practice.
• Reflect and see solutions in daily teaching and in the team’s practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the communication and interaction provision alongside the headteacher and SENCo to develop outstanding practice.
• Adapt learning delivery to enable all pupils to access learning effectively and build trusting relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
