Job summary

Academics is seeking a Primary SEN Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Sutton. You will teach a small mixed EYFS and KS1 class of 10 pupils, delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and supporting pupils with a range of SEN to foster progress.

You will work with Teaching Assistants and the SENCO to create a calm, structured learning environment and track development. Start date October 2026; interviews available immediately; salary on the M3-M6 scale depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experienced working with children with SEN.
  • Confident teaching across EYFS and KS1.
  • Able to differentiate effectively and respond to individual learning needs.
  • Patient, nurturing and adaptable.

Responsibilities
