Personal Care Assistant – Complex SEN School (Bolton)

Location: Bolton

Hours: Thursday & Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join a specialist Secondary SEN school in Bolton. The school supports students with a range of complex needs, including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Down Syndrome, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support to students, including assistance with hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Support pupils in accessing learning activities and therapies tailored to their individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
• Promote independence and dignity while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Assist with physical activities and sensory programs to enhance engagement and development.

Requirements

• Enhanced Child & Adult DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).
