Overview

St Peter's has an exciting opportunity to appoint a highly motivated, organised Office Manager to support the Learning Support Department, starting as soon as possible.

Salary: Surrey Pay Scale PS6 £23,951 to £26,438 FTE; Actual salary £21,059 to £23,246.

Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time plus two weeks in the summer holidays (41 weeks per year).

About the Learning Support Department
  • As a team, we are friendly, hardworking, positive and passionate about our students.
  • The department works closely with SEND, Pupil Premium, EAL and disadvantaged students, parents, heads of year, and subject staff to support individual needs and ensure the inclusion of every student between Years 7 and 13.
  • The department consists of a SENCO, a Deputy SENCO and 22 dedicated, experienced Teaching Assistants.
  • We are a lively, friendly and busy department with a challenging and rewarding role in school.
About You
  • An experienced administrator, PC literate with a good knowledge of MS Word and Excel and general office skills.
  • Naturally organised with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • An excellent communicator and good team player.
  • Possess a positive and flexible attitude towards students and the issues which affect their learning.
  • Be tactful, diplomatic, self-confident with a good sense of humour!
