Job summary

Fresh Start In Education Ltd. is seeking Education Specialists in Leicester and surrounding areas to provide bespoke SEN support to children and young people outside mainstream education. Join a team delivering 1:1/2:1 sessions, with safeguarding priority and progress reporting.

The role offers bank staff PAYE arrangements, term-time only sessions, and a competitive £25–£36 per hour rate, with travel subsidy and resource allowance. Training and wellbeing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Education professionals with at least one year experience supporting children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 or 2:1 support to children and young people in homes or suitable public settings.
• Delivering personalised, creative sessions reflecting each learner's needs, interests and abilities.
• Monitoring and reporting on student progress after each session and setting targets to support development.
• Conducting risk assessments and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Working flexibly on a bank staff contract and term-time only, with sessions typically lasting 3 to 5 hours during the school day.
