Job summary

St Elizabeth’s Centre in Much Hadham is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with students in a specialist environment. You will support learners 1:1 and in small groups, assist in delivering tailored lessons, and help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom focused on individual growth.

The role requires kindness, patience and a willingness to learn; experience in SEN or care settings is helpful but not essential. Training for personal care and medication is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in an education or care setting is desirable but not essential.
• Calm, patient and genuinely passionate about helping others succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 and in small groups with their learning, communication, and independence.
• Assist in delivering creative, tailored lessons that meet individual needs and education plans.
• Promote a positive classroom environment that values diversity, respect, and emotional wellbeing.
• Provide personal care and administer medication when needed (with full training provided)
• Contribute to a team that celebrates progress and nurtures potential — every single day.
