Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of learning needs.
  • Foster confidence, self-esteem, and positive engagement in the classroom.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to ensure pupil progress.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning space that encourages growth.
Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN or complex needs is desirable.
  • A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping pupils thrive academically and personally.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
