Job summary

Wilton CofE Primary School in Kingswood, England, is seeking a caring and stable teaching assistant to support learning and development. The role is fixed-term until 31 August 2027, term-time only, approx.

30 hours per week plus lunch-time cover. The successful candidate will assist with language and social development, support the class teacher, monitor and evaluate learning activities, and help supervise students at lunch and breaks.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths required.
• Experience working in a school environment, SEN experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support children's language development.
• Support children's behavioural, social and emotional development.
• Assist the class teacher and school in achieving its vision.
• Develop, monitor and evaluate programmes of work/learning activities.
• Support children's play and social skills during break.
• Supervise children at lunch and provide play opportunities.
