Entry Level LSA/TA/Care Assistant/SEND Support Worker – Required now!

Overview

Protocol Education is recruiting an entry‑level LSA/TA/Care Assistant / SEND Support Worker. The schools have students with a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD, or a statement of an educational need. A willingness to support these children is essential; no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, no matter what their individual needs may be.
  • Adopt a friendly, positive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Build strong relationships and rapport quickly with each child.
  • Assist in classroom and other activities for students with special educational needs.
  • Work full‑time, 5 days a week, between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Appropriate qualifications and training for the role (see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for details).
  • Valid, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Subscription to the DBS Update Service.
  • Willingness to undertake or have already completed free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training.
