HLTA - SEN - Stoke-on-Trent - ASAP Start Available - Daily Supply

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant in SEN settings ready to take the next step?

Academics are seeking enthusiastic HLTAs to support learning across SEN specialist schools in the Crewe area, delivering interventions and occasionally leading full lessons.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions tailored to pupils' individual needs.
  • Support children with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and the SENCO to ensure each pupil reaches their full potential.
  • Contribute to planning and assessment within the education framework of the school.
  • Promote engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour.
Requirements:
  • HLTA status with a strong understanding of inclusive education and learning.
  • Experience working as an SEN HLTA or in a similar role supporting pupils with special educational needs.
  • Empathy, resilience, and proactive in supporting learners.
  • Clear communication and strong behaviour management.
