Empowering Learning is working with a school in Thirsk who are looking for a HLTA for a long‑term role.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Have the Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 4 plus) and experience in the classroom.
  • Self‑motivated and able to support pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Creative and knowledgeable of different strategies for the classroom, with strong behaviour management skills.
  • Organised and experienced in creating resources for use in the classroom.
  • Excellent Maths, English and ICT skills.
  • Experience working with pupils in intervention groups.
