Job description
Overview

Role: SEN HLTA (Higher level teaching assistant)

Hours: Full Time

Location: Thirsk

Pay Rate: 120 to 140 per day

Responsibilities / Requirements

You must have the Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification and experience to be considered for this role. The ideal candidate will have the ability to be self-motivated and driven to support the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs. Must have HLTA status qualification (Level 4 plus) and experience of working as a HLTA in the classroom. To be creative and knowledgeable of different strategies to use in the classroom as well as strong behaviour management skills. Organisation and experience of creating resources to use in the classroom. Excellent Maths, English and ICT skills. Experience of working with pupils in intervention groups.
