Overview

Role: SEN HLTA (Higher level teaching assistant)

Hours: Full Time

Location: Thirsk

Pay Rate: £120 to £140 per day

Are you a driven Higher Level Teaching Assistant?

Empowering Learning is working with a school in Thirsk who are looking for a HLTA for a long-term role.

You must have the Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification and experience to be considered for this role.

Ideal candidate
  • The ability to be self-motivated and driven to support the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Must have HLTA status qualification (Level 4 plus) and experience of working as a HLTA in the classroom.
  • To be creative and knowledgeable of different strategies to use in the classroom as well as strong behaviour management skills.
  • Organisation and experience of creating resources to use in the classroom.
  • Excellent Maths, English and ICT skills.
  • Experience of working with pupils in intervention groups
