Job summary

A specialist education provider in Bedford is looking for a passionate SEN HLTA to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with special educational needs. Qualifications

  • Experience working as an SEN HLTA or in a similar role supporting pupils with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive education.
  • Empathetic, resilient, and proactive in supporting children with complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions tailored to pupils' individual needs.
  • Support children with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH difficulties.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and the SENCO to ensure each pupil reaches their full potential.
  • Contribute to planning and assessment within the education framework of the school.
