Location: Barking
Pay Rate: £110-130 per day

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN HLTA to join a lovely SEN school in Barking supporting students with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
You will work closely with the class teachers and other staff to provide tailored support for students in both one-to-one and group settings. You will be working across all year groups.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN and be committed to making a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with SEN within the classroom
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities
  • Work with small groups or individual students to support their academic, emotional, and social development
  • Support students with personal care and mobility as required
  • Help the class teacher with the preparation and organisation of learning materials
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students
Person Specification:
  • Experience working with children with SEN (essential)
  • Experience leading small group interventions (essential)
  • A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach
