Job summary

Remedy Education are seeking a caring SEN EYFS Teacher to join a supportive SEN/Primary school in Greenwich. The role focuses on Early Years development, SEN support and delivering engaging, sensory-based lessons.

You will plan creative activities, collaborate with teaching assistants and therapy teams, adapt teaching to individual needs and help pupils progress in communication, social skills and independence. Start ASAP or September; pay 180-240 per day.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
  • Experience teaching within EYFS.
  • Strong SEN experience within a school setting.
  • Nurturing, patient and creative approach.
  • Knowledge of play-based learning and early child development.
  • Confident supporting pupils with autism or complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging and sensory-based EYFS lessons.
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, communication needs and complex needs.
  • Create a safe, nurturing and structured classroom environment.
  • Use play-based learning to support early development and engagement.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs and therapy teams.
  • Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Support pupils with communication, routines, social interaction and emotional regulation.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
