Job summary

Hanson Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Cover Supervisor with SEN experience to work in SEN settings in Bristol and the broader South-West. You will supervise classes during teacher absences and maintain a calm, structured learning environment.

The role requires experience with SEN, ability to follow lesson plans, and strong behaviour management. Part- or full-time hours during school terms with pay £100-£130 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN in school or specialist settings.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning activities, differentiating for SEN needs.
• Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences.
• Deliver pre-set work and keep students engaged and on task.
• Support SEN students to fulfil academic potential and monitor progress.
• Assist in development and implementation of support plans.
