Job summary

Veritas Education work with a variety of schools in the Bradford area to place a confident, reliable SEN Cover Supervisor. You will cover classes across a range of subjects, delivering pre-prepared work and supporting pupils with additional educational needs.

Role focuses on maintaining a positive learning environment, upholding school policies, and promoting inclusion and engagement. DBS check is mandatory; training and guidance are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to empathise with vulnerable pupils & patiently build trust and rapport.
• Utilise emotional resilience with the capacity to stay calm under intense pressure and set clear boundaries.
• Have strong communication skills with strong active listening and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience working with children or adults with additional educational needs in educational or care settings.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is mandatory.
• Specialist training/ qualifications (Team Teach, Safeguarding Certificates etc)
