Job summary

Selworthy Special School in Taunton is seeking an experienced Class Teacher to join a dedicated multi-disciplinary team and support learners aged 4–19 with diverse needs. The role requires flexibility to work across age ranges, a caring approach, and a commitment to inclusive learning in a structured setting.

Applicants should have QTS (ideally) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience, with an empathetic, patient demeanour and strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status required or preferred.
• Experience supporting learners with special educational needs.
• Ability to manage complex behaviours within a structured learning environment.
