Job summary

Remedy Tutors in Bexley seeks compassionate tutors to support students with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will deliver Maths and English tuition, plan lessons for individual goals, and adapt the approach to sustain engagement in learning.

You'll build a calm, encouraging environment, monitor progress and help students gain confidence. Flexible, ongoing placements offer a meaningful way to make a difference in learners' lives while working around you schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach Maths and English.
• Experience with SEN/SEND or SEMH is desirable.

Help Students Overcome Barriers to Education

Remedy Tutors is recruiting supportive tutors to work with young people who may experience social, emotional and mental health needs alongside other learning difficulties.

Students may struggle with anxiety, emotional regulation, low confidence, social interaction or maintaining engagement with education. Some may also have autism, ADHD or other additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver Maths and English tuition.

Plan lessons around individual needs and learning goals.

Adapt teaching to support concentration and engagement.

Create a calm and encouraging learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Ability to teach both Maths and English.

Experience with SEN/SEND or SEMH is desirable.
