Job summary

A leading educational recruitment agency is seeking a SEN Administration Officer in Lambeth to support SEND students in a rewarding primary school environment. You will manage visitor relations, handle enquiries, provide administrative support, and assist with SEND documentation. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and experience working with children in need of SEND support, along with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Qualifications

  • 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a leading UK university.
  • Previous experience working with children and SEND support.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in handling behaviour-related situations.
  • Proficiency in managing data with a detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all visitors receive a warm welcome and manage sign-in/out records.
  • Handle general enquiries from staff, parents, and visitors professionally.
  • Offer secretarial and administrative support to staff and the SEND team.
  • Update SEND records and maintain pupil data and prepare reports.
  • Manage medication and medical records, ensuring accuracy.
  • Assist the SENCo in SEND assessments and documentation.
  • Coordinate school visits and maintain communications.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and the Data Protection Act.
