The role

As a Semi‑Skilled Operative, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be part of our Land sector team, supporting the workshop with essential tasks that keep our operations running. This is an exciting opportunity to strip, clean, repaint and overhaul vehicles and associated sub‑assemblies, contributing to projects that make a real difference to national security and public infrastructure.

Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:
  • Carry out work to the required standard and specification as detailed on job cards
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulations, and local processes
  • Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good serviceable order
  • Report any faults or issues promptly to your Supervisor
  • Support the workshop team with additional duties as required

Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools, or standing for extended periods of time.

The role is based onsite at Bovington, and the set working times are 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.
