Job summary

Addington Ball Limited in Leamington Spa is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join a well-regarded practice.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of client work, ownership and development, with 35 hours per week including a 2pm finish on Fridays, a fully funded study package (ACA/ACCA), 22 days holiday plus Christmas shut, pension and private healthcare, and a supportive team in a modern office.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified and/or actively studying towards ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA.
• IT skills including Excel and any accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc).
• High levels of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse range of clients, providing guidance and advice to clients
• Financial Year-end accounts, ensuring relevant financial reporting standards are adhered to
• Preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts and bookkeeping
• Completion and submission of VAT & CIS returns
• Other ad hoc all round accounting tasks.
