Pay Rate: up to £35,000 FTE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Part-time, 3 days a week (flexible, term‑time only available)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare bookkeeping, management accounts, payroll, tax returns, year‑end financials, budgets, and cashflows
  • Review and supervise the work of trainee staff
  • Report directly to the company director
  • Dive into the detail, not just doing the books, but understanding the business behind them
  • Support a consultative, client‑focused approach
What We’re Looking For:
  • AAT or ACA qualified
  • at least 2 years of recent experience in an accountancy practice is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero (must be confident using it independently)
  • Solid bookkeeping skills and the ability to analyse financial data in context
