Job summary

Armstrong Knight Ltd. is seeking an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior in Leigh-on-Sea to support year-end accounting and audits for a varied client base.

You will progress toward ACA/ACCA with full study support, receive practical coaching, and work closely with experienced colleagues to develop your technical skills and advance in the firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in accountancy practice.
• Studying ACA/ACCA/AAT or starting professional studies.
• Audit exposure welcomed; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Supporting audit assignments, from planning and fieldwork through to completion.
• Preparing supporting schedules and working papers.
• Assisting with corporation tax computations and VAT returns.
• Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Working closely with senior colleagues as you develop your technical skills and take on greater responsibility.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior to join a reputable, multi-site accountancy firm in the Leigh-on-Sea area.

As a recognised ACA and ACCA training provider, the firm has a strong track record of supporting people through their qualifications and helping them progress into more senior positions. The role

Working with a varied client portfolio, your responsibilities will include:

About you

You will have experience within accountancy practice and be studying towards AAT/ ACA or ACCA, or looking to begin your professional studies. Previous audit exposure would be welcome, alongside a willingness to learn, good communication skills and a careful, organised approach to your work.
