Job summary

Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is seeking a Semi-Senior / Senior Accountant in Chichester. This role involves managing a client portfolio, reviewing statutory accounts, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate is part-qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with at least 2 years of practice experience and a solid understanding of VAT and tax.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of clients, working closely with partners
• Review and prepare statutory accounts, including more complex cases
• Oversee and review work completed by juniors and semi seniors – bookkeeping, VAT returns, and accounts
• Provide technical advice to clients, answering queries and offering proactive support
• Get involved with management accounts and corporate tax return reviews
• Option to expand into audit, personal tax, or other areas depending on your interest
• Mentor and train junior staff, playing an important part in team development

Requirements

• Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA) or AAT, QBE,
