Overview

SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full-time, Primary School, Wandsworth. ASAP until July 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support two pupils in Year 1 with SEMH challenges to regulate emotions and maintain focus on learning.
• Pre-empt signals when pupils are not ready to identify emotions or advocate for a break and provide co-regulation.
• Respond consistently to behaviours, following individual behaviour plans.
• Be reliable, consistent, flexible, positive; able to think on their feet and be part of the school team.
