Job summary

Exclusive Education seeks a Social & Emotional Mental Health Teacher to cover basic English and Maths in a challenging behavioural secondary school in Widnes. The role starts in September and is on-going. The teacher will implement strong behaviour management and follow school policies.

Applicants should hold QTS (PGCE/B.Ed./BA Hons with child development) and have eligibility to work in the UK, plus experience with SEND and behavioural needs. DBS with update service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons including child development qualification.
• Eligible to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Experience with Special Educational Needs and behavioural difficulties.

Social & Emotional Mental Health Teacher required

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a teacher to cover basic English and Maths lessons in a challenging behavioural secondary school in Widnes. The role will start in September and will be on-going.

The School are looking at taking on a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons including child development qualification
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children and supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Have experience of supporting pupils with behavioural difficulties
• Have good knowledge of the full curriculum
• Previous EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 teaching experience
• Two references working with children covering the last 2 years
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
