Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be supporting a dedicated SEMH School in Bottesford, who are seeking a committed Primary Teacher to join their team from January 2026 on a temp to perm basis. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to build their expertise within a specialist setting.

The Role

As the Primary Teacher within this SEMH setting, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for KS1/KS2 pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Create a nurturing, structured, and supportive learning environment.
  • Work closely with a skilled pastoral and leadership team to ensure pupils' emotional and academic development.
  • Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a child-centred approach to teaching.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
  • Essential: A strong understanding of SEMH and experience supporting pupils with additional needs
  • A nurturing, reflective, and proactive teaching style
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Due to the school's rural location in Bottesford, access to your own car and the ability to drive is essential
