Job summary

AP Education is seeking Outreach Tutors to provide one-to-one support for CYP in Cirencester and surrounding areas. You will tailor sessions to individual needs, using creative approaches to overcome barriers and monitor progress with your Education Coordinator.

The role emphasises compassionate, flexible tutoring with term-time hours and guaranteed weekly pay. Relevant UK experience or QTS/HLTA are valued, along with a commitment to safeguarding and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, tutoring or supporting CYP with SEND/SEMH.
• UK teaching experience or related education background preferred.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one English, maths, science tuition or SEMH mentoring.
• Build trusting relationships to support engagement.
• Plan flexible, creative sessions tailored to learners.
• Maintain attendance records and progress reports.
