An educational staffing agency in Hull is seeking a passionate SEMH Outreach Tutor to support young learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The role involves delivering tailored lessons and providing one-on-one support to help students thrive academically and personally. Ideal candidates will have experience working with SEMH needs and strong behaviour management skills. Flexible working patterns are offered.
Location: Hull
Daily Rate: £140 per day (Day‑to‑day) or paid to scale for Long‑term
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day‑to‑day / Long‑term | Full‑time / Part‑time
Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and helping them overcome barriers to learning?
GSL Education are seeking a committed SEMH Outreach Tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils across community settings and alternative provisions in Hull.
As an SEMH Outreach Tutor, you will deliver tailored lessons and interventions that meet the unique needs of each learner. Working independently across various settings, you will support students who may struggle with engagement, emotional regulation, or complex behaviour. Your ability to provide structure, positivity, and consistency will be key to helping students progress both academically and personally.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing a new application.
