Job summary

Randstad Education is currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a SEMH school in Chichester. The role is temporary with a view to a permanent transition after a 12-week probation, starting in September and operating term-time only to allow for school holidays.

Salary is £89–£100 per day, with hours Monday-Thursday 08:30-15:30 and Friday 08:30-15:00. Applicants must have Enhanced DBS, 6 months in relevant support, GCSEs (4/C) in English and Maths, a driving licence, a trauma-informed

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in mental health, crisis support, or youth justice.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Driver's licence and access to a car.
• Trauma-informed approach to learning and support.
• Willingness to do personal care.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning and behaviour in a SEMH setting.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive environment and wellbeing of students.
