Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEMH Inclusion Support Assistant to join a Secondary PRU in the Manchester area.

You will support 11-16 year olds with SEMH, ADHD, ASC and related needs, delivering 1:1 and small-group support inside and outside the classroom. This full-time opportunity emphasizes safeguarding, restorative approaches, and positive learning outcomes.

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Inclusion Support Assistant to join a well-established Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Manchester area.

This rewarding role involves supporting students aged 11-16 who require additional support outside of mainstream education. Pupils may present with a range of needs including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), trauma-related behaviours, anxiety, attachment difficulties, anger regulation challenges, behavioural needs, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and disengagement from education.

PRUs provide specialist, nurturing environments where young people can rebuild confidence, develop emotional resilience, and re-engage with learning. As an SEMH Inclusion Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role

Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and behaviour specialists, you will provide targeted support to students both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
