Job summary

Engage Services, part of the Marston Holdings group, is recruiting a self-employed field agent in the UK. The role involves visiting residential and commercial properties to resolve utility accounts, reconnect services, and assist customers facing financial difficulties. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

You will work flexible weekdays and potentially Saturdays, with a guaranteed daily rate and full training provided. Opportunities to progress across roles are available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Access to own vehicle with business insurance preferred.
• DBS check clean.
• Healthy credit history; CCJs considered if repayment arrangements exist.
• Strong organisational, negotiation, and case-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while following company policies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out field visits to residential and commercial properties for clients.
• Resolve customer accounts and reconnect services where applicable.
• Support customers experiencing financial difficulty and connect them with available help.
• Collect accurate utility meter readings where required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and clients to manage disputes.

What Is a Resolution Field Agent?

As a Resolution Field Agent, you will carry out field visits to both residential and commercial properties on behalf of our clients. The role covers a variety of workstreams focused on resolving customer accounts, reconnecting services, and providing support to those experiencing financial difficulty.

Key Workstreams

• Commercial & Residential Utilities - Discussing and resolving utility accounts
• Communication & Reconnection - Reconnecting customers with our clients and their services
• Welfare Utility Visits - Introducing customers to support services for financial difficulties and facilitating reconnection where appropriate
• Utility Meter Reads - Collecting accurate utility meter readings

Working Pattern & Benefits

• Flexible working - minimum 2 Weekdays per week, 8 hours per day

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence

• ULEZ-compliant vehicle (required when working within London ULEZ zones)

• Strong organisational, negotiation, and case-management skills
