Job summary

Regional Recruitment Services is assisting a leading logistics company in Doncaster to hire a Self-Employed Delivery Driver on a temp-to-perm basis. The role offers long-term work with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. Most roles feature weekly payments and VAT registration requirements.

Candidates must own a suitable van (H3H3/H3H2 LWB), hold a full UK driving license, and meet liability and insurance criteria. Desirable: 1 year multi-drop experience.

Qualifications

• Must own H3H3/H3H2 LWB van.
• Public Liability limit £5million.
• Goods in Transit £20,000.
• Motor Certificate Insurance For Hire and Reward.
• Must hold a full UK driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle inspections to ensure that the vehicle is road worthy.
• Maintain the vehicle clean & safe
• Be responsible to deliver correct item to the right address.
• Maintain a driving log & complete daily paperwork to ensure that each delivery is carried out correctly.
• Ensure you follow local driving laws & road regulations.
• Deliver to a minimum of 45 parcels per day.
• Packages can weigh up to 40kg.
• Deliver efficiently, be customer friendly and work on a daily/hourly schedule.

Essential:

• The candidate MUST OWN H3H3/H3H2 LWB VAN.
• Public Liability limit £5million
• Goods in Transit £20,000
• Motor Certificate Insurance For Hire and Reward
• Must hold a full UK driver’s license.

Desirable:

• Minimum of one year experience in multi-drop delivery
