A growing engineering company in Preston is seeking a Qualified Gas Engineer on a sub-contracting basis. The ideal candidate will have CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 qualifications along with necessary tools and a van. Responsibilities include attending to gas meters, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Strong customer service skills and experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experienced & qualified gas engineers with CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 qualifications.
• Must have own van and tools.

Responsibilities

• Work as a metering engineer attending faulty gas meters which would need exchanging, installing or repairing.
• Carry out visual inspections of gas appliances.
• Perform standing and working pressure checks.
• Alter meter locations as required.
• Fully customer focused, carrying out essential works driven by the HSE.
