Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a flexible, self-employed Shared Lives carer to provide short breaks in a home setting. You will work with individuals matched to you, offering daily living support during their stay and coordinating with carers.

This role is designed to fit around your availability and enables carers to claim tax relief on earnings. Short breaks start at a minimum of one night, and you can support up to three people at once, earning per person per booking.

Responsabilités

• Provide short breaks for individuals staying in community with their shared lives carer.
• Support daily living skills during their short breaks.
• Coordinate with full-time carers and unpaid carers for matching and scheduling.
• Work from home during short breaks and manage earnings for tax relief.
