Smiths News is seeking flexible Self-Employed Drivers to join our growing distribution network in the UK. This role offers early morning work, giving you the rest of the day free for family, hobbies or additional opportunities.

You will pack newspapers and magazines, follow a dedicated daily route, deliver to about 20–30 customers, collect returns, and scan items back at the depot. Start with onboarding and routes available immediately.

Qualifications

• Valid UK or European Driving Licence.
• Access to a 3.5T van with a carrying capacity between 1050kg and 1200kg.
• Ability to work early morning routes.

Responsibilities

• Packing newspapers and magazines for delivery.
• Following a dedicated daily route.
• Delivering to approximately 20-30 customers.
• Collecting returns and recycling bags.
• Scanning returned products back at the depot.
