Job summary

Truly Dental is opening a Hull clinic and seeks a qualified dental nurse to join the team. You will support patients before, during and after sedation and surgical procedures, working with an experienced clinical team in a busy environment.

You will perform chairside duties, ensure infection control, prepare rooms, and help maintain accurate sedation documentation. Applicants must have GDC registration, sedation training, and NEBDN or equivalent.

Qualifications

• GDC registration required.
• Sedation training required.
• At least 20 sedation cases completed or supported.
• NEBDN UK dental nurse qualification or equivalent.
• Strong infection control and surgery preparation skills.

Responsibilities

Our new Hull clinic opens in November 2026. Clinical team members start in October so they can take part in training and setup before day one.

The role

You will support patients before, during and after sedation and surgical procedures, working alongside an experienced clinical team.

Your day to day will include:

• Chairside assistance and patient preparation
• Monitoring patients during sedation in line with clinical protocols
• Postoperative care and recovery support
• Infection prevention and instrument sterilisation
• Preparing treatment rooms and equipment
• Keeping accurate sedation records and documentation
• Escalating any clinical concerns promptly

What you need

• GDC registration
• Sedation training
• At least 20 sedation cases completed or supported
• NEBDN UK dental nurse qualification or equivalent
• Strong infection control and surgery preparation skills
• Right to work in the UK

Nice to have

• SAAD course completed
• Experience in surgical, implant or advanced dental treatments
• Familiarity with Dentally (training provided)

Important details before applying

• Location: Hull, HU9 2AA (Unit 8 M Park Kingston, Holderness Road)
• Contract: Full time, shift and rota based. Clinic open seven days a week, 8:00am to 8:00pm
• Salary: £16.00 to £18.00 per hour, depending on experience and sedation case history
