BCA in the UK is seeking a Security Team Member / Gate Operative to support the busy vehicle remarketing centre. The role focuses on gate control, vehicle entry and exit, and delivering reliable customer service.

You will work 4 x 10 hour shifts on a rota, Monday to Sunday, 7am to 7am, with onsite parking and a competitive benefits package. This permanent role offers opportunities across the BCA network and a clear path into site operations.

Qualifications

• Full UK drivers license (held for more than two years)
• Able to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
• Willingness to help other departments out when needed
• Able to work alone or as part of a team
• Happy to be part of a team that sanitises all vehicles

Responsibilities

• Inbound and outbound gate control, using verbal communication with hauliers and customers, and handheld technology to process the acceptance or exit of customer assets.
• Deal face to face with customers collecting vehicles delivering quality customer service and adhering to correct checking procedures in authorising access to vehicles.
• Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager

Main purpose of the role:

To assist with the daily operations of a busy vehicle remarketing centre. Primarily Gate based to process the safe and secure entry and exit of auction vehicles.

Role Duties:

• Inbound and outbound gate control, using verbal communication with hauliers and customers, and handheld technology to process the acceptance or exit of customer assets.
