About The Role:

Shift Pattern: 07:00-19:00 Working a 4 on, 4 off pattern

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the vibrant, fast paced environment of Fosse Park in the role of Security Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the retail Security sector, specifically in a Management/Supervisory role and people management. The successful applicant will optimise the customer experience by leading the Security Team to achieve the highest levels of Security, Customer Service and Health & Safety. If you have outstanding customer service, a strong work ethic, proven leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, with a drive & passion for retail then we would like you to apply to join the team!

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and management regarding security matters
  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Ensure the correct escalation of incidents in line with the incident escalation process, maintaining accurate records
  • Oversee the operation of security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, VMS, Intruder/Panic Alarms, BMS, ANPR, radio, and phone systems
  • Implement emergency procedures in accordance with the Incident and Emergency Plan
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
  • Provide training and guidance to security personnel, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive security coverage
  • Address any operational issues or challenges promptly, finding effective solutions to maintain smooth operations

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience in a supervisory role within the security industry
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential
  • SIA Public Space CCTV License
  • Proven experience within a similar role is essential
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilitiesEffective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and adaptable, able to respond to changing demands and priorities
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
  • Have a good understanding of Health & Safety, preferably IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
