Qualifications

  • 2 years Team Leader / Supervisor / Manager experience in the corporate sector.
  • Willingness to learn & proactively identify and address security concerns.
  • Reliable, responsible and punctual.
  • Be calm under pressure and have the presence of mind to defuse difficult situations.

  • Ensure all officers follow site-specific duties, policies and procedures.

Security Site Supervisor

Location: City of London (EC3M)

Pay Rate: £16.63 per hour

Hours: Average 56 hours per week

Shifts: Days & Nights – 7 on / 3 off or 7 on / 4 off

Job Requirements
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence required.
  • 2 years Team Leader / Supervisor / Manager experience in the corporate sector.
  • IT and Supervisory / Management skills required.
  • Willingness to learn & proactively identify and address security concerns.
  • Excellent communication both written & verbal skills.
  • Reliable, Responsible and Punctual.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Flexible approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Be calm under pressure – have the presence of mind to defuse difficult situations.
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • CCTV & First Aid qualifications are desirable.
  • Ensure the control room remains organised, operationally ready and secure at all times.
  • Support continuous training and development of security personnel to enhance team performance.
  • Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties.
  • Provide all the documentation and vetting information requested.
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily deployment and supervision of security personnel, ensuring full coverage and adherence to site procedures and customer expectations.
  • Deploy officers to required locations promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all officers follow site‑specific duties, policies and procedures, reporting any breaches or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct thorough shift handovers and monitor completion of logs, reports and incident documentation.
  • Maintain high standards of dress and professional conduct across all teams.
  • Support the Duty Security Manager in operational delivery and demonstrate flexibility in daily duties.
  • Monitor and supervise CCTV operations, ensuring rapid response to any security concerns.
  • Provide team leadership and guidance, ensuring the team is well‑presented, motivated and operating to a high standard.
  • Lead on‑site responses to fire alarms, evacuations, medical emergencies and other critical incidents, ensuring all actions are compliant with site protocols and legal obligations.
  • Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.

The role contributes directly to delivering a high standard of security, safety and customer service across this unique commercial skyscraper located in the financial district of the City of London; the 38‑storey building is 687,000 sq. ft of high‑quality office accommodation.

The Supervisor is entrusted with maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for occupiers, visitors, contractors and staff. This position requires confident leadership, excellent communication and the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
