A leading building society in the UK seeks a Security Officer for its Coventry office. You will monitor CCTV systems, respond to incidents, and provide customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and experience in security operations. A flexible working pattern is considered, and training for surveillance qualifications will be provided. We're looking for someone to join our Security Operations Centre team as an on-site Security Officer. This is a 12 month opportunity.
Based at our head office sites in Coventry this role is responsible for monitoring our CCTV systems and responding to incidents accordingly. It’ll liaise with key agencies and make use of computerised systems to maintain our sites to the highest security standards. One of the main aims will be to ensure that all electronic systems, intruder alarms, access control systems, processes and procedures meet the required service levels and the security needs of our organisation.
Part of the role will be providing excellent customer service as the role will liaise with members of staff and external parties. Keeping up to date with regulations and changes will be key as well as supporting your management team with department administration, maintaining security audit, incident and compliance management information,
Our Security Operations Centre operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. The shift pattern includes days and nights, using 12 hours shifts, with 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off.

An SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence is not essential for the role as the qualification will be provided to the suitable candidate.
