Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Security Service Engineer to install, service and maintain CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems across Bristol and surrounding areas. The role is field-based, involving travel to commercial sites and hands-on fault finding with multiple manufacturer systems.

You will handle planned and reactive maintenance, ensure high-quality workmanship, and keep accurate service reports. A full UK driving licence and experience in security systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Previous experience as a Security Service Engineer or Security Systems Engineer.
• Ideally 3+ years in the security industry.
• Experience with CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms.
• Familiarity with multiple manufacturers’ systems.
• Willingness to undertake additional training.
• Certifications such as IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA and City & Guilds are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of IP CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Work with various security system manufacturers.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard and comply with industry regulations.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Support other engineers when required.

Security Service Engineer (CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarms) - Bristol - £40,000-£42,000 + Overtime

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Security Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing security systems company covering Bristol and surrounding areas. Due to continued expansion, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable, long-term, permanent role with strong earning potential.

This is a full-time, field-based position working across commercial sites, servicing and maintaining a wide range of electronic security systems.
